#Trust30 Day 25 – Call to Arms by Sasha Dichter

Call to Arms by Sasha Dichter

The secret of fortune is joy in our hands. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

What if today, right now, no jokes at all, you were actually in charge, the boss, the Head Honcho. Write the “call to arms” note you’re sending to everyone (staff, customers, suppliers, Board) charting the path ahead for the next 12 months and the next 5 years. Now take this manifesto, print it out somewhere you can see, preferably in big letters you can read from your chair.

You’re just written your own job description. You know what you have to do. Go!

(bonus: send it to the CEO with the title “The things we absolutely have to get right – nothing else matters.”)

(Author: Sasha Dichter)

Today’s Sentence:

The company of others with similar struggles can help raise you above you self doubts, even if only temporarily.

My “Call to Arms”:

We may be small, but we are headed to great things if we have the courage. It won’t be easy, but the rewards for the effort will be worth it. In the next year we need to formalize and streamline the process until we can produce with our eyes closed. We need our research and references always within arms reach, and a steady, standardized method of production so that we can increase our output. If we manage to double our output exponentially over the next five years, we could just find ourselves at the precipice overlooking a brave new life!
